1. Who We Are

Kalikara ("Kalikara," "we," "us," "our") is operated by Katherine Anne Kaplan, trading as Kalikara. These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the website kalikara.com (the "Site") and your purchase or booking of any services offered through it, including 1:1 healing sessions, mentorship containers, and Sacred Ireland Pilgrimages (together, the "Services"). By using the Site, submitting an application, or booking a Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or the Services.

2. Important Wellness Disclaimer

Kalikara offers energy healing, spiritual guidance, mentorship, and pilgrimage experiences. These Services are complementary wellness practices. They are not medicine, psychotherapy, or healthcare, and they are not a substitute for diagnosis, treatment, or advice from a qualified medical or mental-health professional. Katherine Anne Kaplan is not a medical doctor, psychologist, or licensed therapist, and nothing on this Site or within a Service constitutes medical or psychological advice.

You should never delay seeking, disregard, or discontinue medical or psychological care because of anything experienced through, or read about, the Services. If you have a medical or mental-health condition, please consult your healthcare provider before booking. No specific outcome, healing result, or benefit is promised or guaranteed; every person's experience is their own.

3. Applications and Bookings

Certain Services, including 1:1 sessions and pilgrimages, begin with an application submitted through the Site. Submitting an application does not create a booking, reserve a place, or form a contract. We review each application personally and reserve the right to accept or decline any application at our sole discretion, including where we believe a Service is not a suitable fit for the applicant. A booking is confirmed only when we have communicated acceptance to you in writing (email is sufficient) and any required payment has been received.

You agree that all information you provide in an application is truthful and complete, including information about your physical capability and health where requested. Pilgrimages involve walking on uneven terrain, hiking (including uphill sections of approximately 45 minutes), and extended time outdoors in changeable weather; by booking, you confirm you are physically able to participate.

4. Prices and Payment

Prices for Services are displayed on the Site or communicated during the application process. Single 1:1 sessions are currently priced at $300 USD. Mentorship containers are priced individually according to their length and scope, and pilgrimage pricing is provided upon acceptance of an application. All prices may change at any time, but changes will not affect bookings already confirmed and paid. Payment must be made by the method and deadline we specify. Pilgrimage places are secured with a non-refundable deposit of 50% of the pilgrimage price, with the balance due 60 days before departure.

5. Cancellations, Rescheduling and Refunds

1:1 sessions: You may reschedule or cancel a confirmed session by emailing info@kalikara.com at least 48 hours before the scheduled start time, in which case the session will be rescheduled or refunded in full. Cancellations made with less notice, and missed sessions, are non-refundable.

Mentorship containers: Once a mentorship container has begun, payments are non-refundable. A container cancelled before it begins will be refunded in full, less any sessions already delivered at the single-session rate.

Pilgrimages: Deposits are non-refundable. The balance is refundable up to 60 days before departure; within 60 days of departure, all payments are non-refundable. We strongly recommend travel insurance that covers cancellation. If we cancel a pilgrimage for any reason, you will receive a full refund of all amounts paid to us; we are not responsible for other costs you may have incurred, such as flights or visas, which is a further reason travel insurance is strongly recommended.

Nothing in this section limits any refund rights you may have under applicable consumer law.

6. Pilgrimage-Specific Terms

Pilgrimage itineraries, sites visited, accommodations, and schedules are indicative and may change due to weather, site access, safety considerations, or circumstances beyond our control; where changes are necessary we will provide experiences of a comparable standard. You are responsible for your own travel to and from the meeting point, valid travel documents, visas where required, and comprehensive travel insurance including medical cover and cancellation cover. You agree to follow reasonable safety instructions during the pilgrimage; we may, without refund, remove any participant whose behaviour endangers themselves, others, or the experience of the group.

7. Voluntary Participation and Assumption of Risk

Your participation in all Services is entirely voluntary. Energy healing and ceremonial work can be emotionally evocative, and pilgrimage travel involves the inherent risks of outdoor physical activity. To the fullest extent permitted by law, you assume these inherent risks, and you are responsible at all times for your own choices, actions, and wellbeing before, during, and after any Service.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on the Site — including text, images, illustrations (including the subtle energy bodies artwork), the Kalikara name and wordmark, and the structure and design of the Site — is owned by or licensed to us and is protected by intellectual-property laws. KA Method® is a registered trademark. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from Site content, or teach or commercially use materials shared within Services, without our prior written permission.

9. Your Conduct

You agree to use the Site lawfully and to submit only information that is accurate and yours to share. You must not misuse the Site's forms, attempt to interfere with the Site's operation, or use Site content or the Services to harass, defame, or harm any person.

10. Third-Party Sites and Services

The Site links to third-party websites and services, including kamethod.com, kalikaracrystals.com, Instagram, Amazon (for book purchases), and our email service provider. Those sites are governed by their own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their content or practices. KA Method® training and Kalikara Crystals products are provided under the terms presented on their respective sites.

11. Newsletter

By subscribing to our newsletter you consent to receive emails from Kalikara. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email. Our handling of your personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.

12. Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence. Subject to that, to the fullest extent permitted by law: (a) the Site and Services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind; (b) we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, or loss of income, arising from your use of the Site or Services; and (c) our total aggregate liability to you in connection with any Service is limited to the amount you paid us for that Service.

13. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify us against claims, losses, and expenses arising from your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the Site or Services.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version published on the Site at the time you book a Service is the version that applies to that booking. Continued use of the Site after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, and the courts of Ireland will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them, except where applicable consumer law entitles you to bring proceedings in your own country.
